Woke Twitch Streamers EPIC Hogwarts Legacy FAIL - Video

Only a day into Hogwarts Legacy early access, the game has already smashed a significant Twitch record. Although Hogwarts Legacy will be officially released on February 10, some players have already been exploring the Wizarding World.

This is despite considerable controversy over the views of Harry Potter creator JK Rowling, which has led many fans, and even some websites, to boycott the game.

As soon as early access kicked off at midnight on February 7, the first Hogwarts Legacy streams started appearing on Twitch, feeding everyone's curiosity about the game. Fans' interest piqued enough that other popular games like Fortnite or League Of Legends, that usually amass the most viewers, were left in its wake.

At times during the first day of early access it was watched by over 1.2 million people on Twitch, breaking the platform's record of most live viewers for a single-player game. This means Hogwarts Legacy beat Cyberpunk 2077, another title which was highly anticipated prior to its release.

The game also managed to eclipse the Just Chatting category on Twitch, which is typically one of the platform's most popular. Most Harry Potter fans tuned into xQc's channel to follow his Hogwarts Legacy stream, which had over 100,000 live viewers at peak times.
