Rosie's Design History in Hazbin Hotel and Zoophobia (2012-2024) - Video

One of my favourite characters in the show is rosie. She’s an overlord, a close friend of alastor and also the leader of the cannibal colony. What most fans probably don’t know is that she originated from vivzie’s old webcomic zoophobia.

She was originally called Hilda and was Head of the House at the Hell royal palace. She managed the royal household and cares for its residents. This was all in the old lore, so she would’ve served the old lucifer and his son damian. However many of her traits persisted, like her loving, compassionate nature.

Design wise she’s incredibly similar to her final version. She’s just missing her signature grin, outfit and wide hat.

As cool as rosie’s old design was, i love her new version and think it’s an improvement.
